BCA Summer Camp
The Best Way to Spend Your Summer in Andorra!
At the BCA Summer Camp, we believe summer should be about more than just fun; it should also be about growth, learning, and making memories that last. That’s why we offer a blend of engaging activities that immerse students in the English language while having a great time. From weekly excursions to Caldea and 360Extrem, to daily workshops, sports, and outdoor adventures, students are never bored!
Our Summer Camp runs for four weeks in July (from Tuesday, July 1st, to Friday, July 25th), and each week offers a different and exciting experience, meaning that students can enroll for multiple weeks.
Who can sign up?
The BCA Summer Camp is open to all students born between 2008 and 2022; whether they’re already part of the BCA family or joining us from other schools, both in Andorra and abroad. We group students based on their ages and English levels to ensure the best experience for each child.
Planning del BCA Summer Camp
Weekly Excursions: Likids (Caldea), Splash! & 360eXtrem
One of the highlights of the BCA Summer Camp is our weekly outing, a full day of fun, movement, and adventure!
- Weeks 1 & 3: Water adventures at Likids (Cladea) or Splash!
- For Campers Under 120cm: Get ready for a magical morning at Likids, the exclusive children’s spa at Caldea! Designed especially for little ones, this space combines water play, bubbles, and guided activities in a calm and playful setting!
- For Campers Over 120cm: It’s time to slide into action at Splash!, the water zone at Palau de Gel. With three exciting water slides, this the aquatic adventure guarantees fun, speed, and laughter!
- Weeks 2 and 4: Freestyle Adventures at 360° eXtrem!
- A visit to Andorra’s indoor freestyle centre, a favourite with our campers! Whether they’re flipping on trampolines, learning to balance on a skateboard, or testing out new moves, this session is all about movement, coordination, and high-energy fun in a safe, professional setting.
Mini Summer Camp (2020-2022)
Our Mini Summer Camp is designed to give little ones their first taste of summer adventures in a creative and caring environment. With individual attention and lots of fun, our youngest ones enjoy a blend of storytelling, hands-on experiences, and outdoor fun.
Each week follows a book-themed focus, from hungry caterpillars to curious little pigs, and activities are designed to spark imagination and encourage exploration.
Here’s what a typical day looks like:
- Story Time & Discovery
We start each morning with the week’s story, songs, and a sensory-based activity, such as yoga, stretching, or hands-on exploration, to ease into the day with curiosity and fun. - Workshops & Creativity
Throughout the week, children explore a variety of creative and sensory experiences: cooking, experiments, crafts and nature play. All activities are adapted to suit their developmental stage and attention span. - Outdoor Play & Water Fun
Every day includes time outdoors for free play and movement, and on water days, we splash, and have fun in supervised settings. Fridays are extra special with treasure hunts and picnic adventures to end the week with a smile.
We create sub-groups within this group to make sure every child’s needs are supported.
BCA Summer Camp (2014 y 2019)
(With 2 sub-groups; ages 6–8 and 9–11)
For this age group, the planning is tailored based on both their age and English level. We organise students into sub-groups to ensure that every child — whether 6 or 11 — gets the most out of their experience.
Each day is built around three core sessions:
- English in Action
Through storytelling, role play, and creative projects like art or guided reading, our English sessions combine short, focused lessons with dynamic activities that help students practise speaking in real-life situations, always in a fun, pressure-free environment! - Themed Workshops
Students enjoy hands-on activities each day; from cooking and science experiments to nature exploration and outdoor treasure hunts. Every workshop encourages creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. - Outdoor Fun
Every afternoon, students enjoy active games like water play and Olympic-style challenges, with the option to join a quieter Creative Corner for crafts or drawing. On Fridays, the whole group joins a special Outdoor Geocaching Adventure & Picnic to end the week in an exciting way! - Wednesdays are outing days (to Caldea or 360ºExtrem), followed by a calmer afternoon of tie dye crafts and creative social time.
BCA Teens Summer Experience (2008-2013)
Our Teens Summer Experience is crafted for students aged 12 to 16 who are ready for more independence, more creativity, and more challenge. It’s a summer built around real-world English, collaborative projects, and the freedom to explore different interests.
Each day is structured around three core blocks:
- English in Action
Whether they’re preparing a podcast, debating topics or creating short films, our English sessions focus on real communication and collaboration. - Workshops with Purpose
Our workshops are guided by curiosity and creativity. Teens explore science challenges, photography, design, tie dye, and fun cooking activities. Each session helps them discover new skills, express themselves, and work together as a team. - Outdoor Fun & Freedom to Choose
Afternoons are flexible and fun; from team sports and water challenges to chill creative corners where they can draw, journal, or simply hang out. Fridays wrap up with an Outdoor Geocaching Adventure & Picnic, where problem-solving meets nature in a fun, team-based finale. - Wednesdays are for heading out (to Caldea or 360ºExtrem), followed by a laid-back afternoon with music, tie dye, and creative expression.
