BCA Summer Camp
A Summer of Real English, Real Adventure, Real Growth
At BCA Summer Camp, summer has a clear purpose. Children strengthen their English, grow in confidence, and discover new strengths within a safe and inspiring environment.
Each day is carefully structured to combine focused English sessions, creative workshops, outdoor challenges and adventure-based activities. The programme balances academic development with movement, collaboration and fun, ensuring that learning feels natural and engaging throughout the day.
Our 2026 edition runs for four weeks in July, starting the week of July 6th. Each week is built around a different country theme, shaping projects, workshops and cultural activities that give students a rich and varied English experience. Families may enrol for one week or multiple weeks.
Who Can Join?
BCA Summer Camp 2026 is open to students born between 2010 and 2023, whether they are part of the BCA community or joining us from other schools in Andorra or abroad.
Students are organised into age-appropriate groups according to both age and English level, ensuring that every child benefits from a supportive, engaging and appropriately challenging experience.
Planning del BCA Summer Camp
Weekly Adventure Excursions
A key element of BCA Summer Camp is our weekly excursion, designed to complement the programme with movement, challenge and shared experiences outside the classroom.
Each week, students take part in a carefully selected adventure activity that promotes confidence, coordination and teamwork in a safe and professionally supervised environment.
MontMagic - Outdoor Adventure in Nature
Set in the heart of the mountains, MontMagic offers an exciting outdoor adventure experience. From alpine activities to guided challenges, students enjoy fresh air, movement and team-based experiences in a spectacular natural setting.
360°eXtrem - Freestyle & Movement
At Andorra’s leading indoor freestyle centre, students challenge themselves through trampolines, balance activities and movement-based circuits. These sessions encourage physical coordination, resilience and confidence while maintaining the highest safety standards.
These outings are fully integrated into the weekly programme, providing meaningful opportunities for students to develop teamwork, independence and communication skills
Mini Summer Camp - Koalas (Born 2021-2023)
A gentle introduction to summer in English for our youngest learners. Within a caring and well-structured environment, children build confidence through play, movement and guided discovery.
Each week is inspired by the camp’s country theme, introducing new stories, music and creative activities in an age-appropriate and playful way.
A Balanced Daily Rhythm
Our Koalas follow a predictable routine that combines exploration with moments of calm:
• Storytelling, songs and sensory activities
• Creative workshops and hands-on discovery
• Outdoor play and water fun
• Adapted excursions and adventure days
• A simple Friday celebration to recognise effort and participation
Children are organised into small sub-groups to ensure close attention and personalised support.
Small Groups & Close Supervision
Koalas benefit from a low adult-to-child ratio (approximately 1:7), supported by two qualified teachers and two teaching assistants. This ensures attentive supervision, personalised guidance and a secure environment at all times.
BCA Summer Camp - Chimps & Leopards
(Born 2015-2020)
For children aged 6 to 11, the programme combines structured English development with creativity, movement and adventure. The weekly country theme provides context for projects, workshops and collaborative challenges.
Students are organised into two groups:
- Chimps (2018-2020)
- Leopards (2015-2017)
Within each group, students also work in smaller sub-groups according to English level to ensure appropriate challenge and support.
Each day follows a clear and balanced structure built around three core elements:
(DROP DOWN 1) English in Action
Focused English sessions build speaking, listening and communication skills through project-based learning, storytelling, collaborative challenges and guided reading.
(DROP DOWN 2 ) Creative & Themed Workshops
Inspired by each week’s country theme, workshops include science experiments, cooking sessions, design challenges, art projects and problem-solving tasks.
(DROP DOWN 3) Outdoor & Adventure Activities
Afternoons include sports, team challenges, water games and movement-based activities. Wednesdays are dedicated to our weekly adventure excursions (360°eXtrem or MontMagic), followed by creative social time back at camp.
Fridays conclude with an outdoor adventure block, including Geocaching, team games and picnic time.
BCA Teens Summer Experience - Lions (Born 2010-2014)
Designed for students aged 12 to 16, the Teens Summer Experience offers greater independence, deeper collaboration and real-world English use within a structured and supportive environment. Each week is shaped by the country theme, providing meaningful context for projects, debates and creative challenges.
(DROP DOWN 1) English in Action
English sessions focus on authentic communication through podcasts, debates, short films, presentations and collaborative tasks.
(DROP DOWN 2) Workshops with Purpose
Workshops encourage creativity and problem-solving, from STEM challenges and design projects to photography and cooking experiences.
(DROP DOWN 3) Outdoor & Adventure
Afternoons balance structured activity with responsible independence, including team sports, movement challenges and creative free-choice sessions. Wednesdays are dedicated to our weekly adventure excursions (360°eXtrem or MontMagic), followed by creative social time at camp.
Fridays conclude with outdoor adventure blocks, including geocaching, engineering challenges and team-based activities.
Growth, Effort & Recognition
At BCA Summer Camp, confidence grows when effort is recognised. Alongside academic and creative development, we actively encourage responsibility, positive behaviour and participation.
(DROP DOWN 1): Daily Behaviour Passports (Chimps & Leopards)
Our 6-11 year-olds take part in a daily Behaviour Passport system. Students can earn stickers for helping others, listening and focus, respecting materials, speaking English, and showing effort and participation.
On Fridays, students are invited to visit the Sticker Shop and choose a small prize to celebrate their engagement throughout the week.
(DROP DOWN 2): End-of-Week Certificates (Chimps, Leopards & Lions)
Every Friday, each group recognises one student for a specific strength demonstrated during the week. Certificates may acknowledge areas such as Most Improved in English, Biggest Effort, Sports Star, Listening Star, Best Artistic Skills or English Speaker of the Week.
These moments celebrate growth, commitment and personal development across the camp programme.
